The TVOC-2-240 Arc Monitoring Arc Protection System is a system designed to protect people and equipment from arc failures. It detects electrical arcs via an arc monitor and sends an electrical signal through a fast IGBT contact to a nearby circuit breaker within 1 millisecond to cut off power and extinguish the arc. This system has 10 detector inputs and can trigger up to three regionally selective circuit breakers if needed. In addition, the system can be expanded to up to 30 light detectors, including an HMI that can be placed on the outside of the door. The system has a power supply voltage range of 100 to 250 volts DC or 100 to 240 volts AC 50/60 Hertz, and can be equipped with electric influenza measuring units, optical cables, cable bands and other accessories.
