IS220PSVOH1A Technical Specifications

Series Mark VIe and Mark VIeS
Part Number IS220PSVOH1A
Product Type PSVO Servo Control Module

Product Description

The IS220PSVOH1A functions as a Servo Control pack.  This component is made by GE for their Mark VI or Mark VIe systems.  Both of these systems are used to control steam and gas turbine systems.

The IS220PSVOH1A provides the electrical interface between one or two I/O Ethernet networks and a TSVO servo terminal board.   The IS220PSVOH1A uses the WSVO servo driver module to handle two servo valve position loops. The PSVO has a front faceplate with multiple LED indicators.  These include four LEDs that indicate that status of the two Ethernet networks (ENet1/Enet2), as well as a Power and Attn LED, and two others labeled ENA1/2.  The front also has a single infrared port, which is not used in this pack.

The IS220PSVOH1A is configured with the Control System Toolbox application after installation.  The pack includes a processor board with input power connectors, local power supplies, and an internal sensor for temperature monitoring.  The board also has flash memory and RAM onboard. This board connects to an acquisition board.

The IS220PSVOH1A  can be auto-reconfigured when they are replaced.  This option is enabled/disabled through the ToolboxST application through the Component Editor.  The Component Editor also allows the operator to reconfigure the module manually if desired. When a terminal board is replaced, the I/O pack must be manually reconfigured.

Servo performance can be verified through stroking the actuator via manual mode, position ramping, or step current.  The trend recorder will display any abnormalities in the actuator stroke. More information about this and other parts of the board, its installation and operation, as well as possible compatibility issues, can be found through manufacturer user guides and manuals.
