Overview

Essential details:IC694MDL241 GE Input module

The IC694MDL241 module is a GE Fanuc-manufactured input module. The module has a current rating of 7 milliamps and it runs with a voltage supply of 24 Volts AC/DC. It is a 16-point input module compatible with the RX3i PLC system. The module helps to interface the PLC system and other input devices, including thumb switches and sensors. This positive/negative input modules are grouped together by using a common input power terminal. The power should be supplied through the backplane. The front section of the IC694MDL241 input module is equipped with 16 different LEDs that are associated with each of the 16 points. Eack LED illuminates green when a connection is made with a specific input. This module is a low-voltage module and it is compact in size. The field to backplane voltage of the module is 250 Volts AC and the frame isolation voltage rating is 1500 Volts AC.

IC694MDL241 GE Input module

The GE Fanuc RX3i IC694MDL241 16-point input module can be easily connected with different control platforms, input modules, and monitoring devices. The module consumes 80 milliamps of current from the 5 Volts bus from the backplane and it consumes 125 milliamps of current from the isolated 24 Volts bus. This module can be easily installed in any of the I/O slots in the RX3i PLC system. The IC694MDL241 input module uses the Triac output types and no polarity. The module has an active diagnostics system that monitors the module during operation. It can easily detect unwanted system events and alert the operators with alarms. The alarms in the module can be set and adjusted as needed by the operators.
