Overview

Essential details:IC670ALG240 GE analog input module

The GE Fanuc IC200ALG240 module is a Versamax analog input module that has 8 channels. It is designed to be used as part of a complete Versamax I/O or PLC system in commercial or industrial automation applications. The IC200ALG240 analog input module is an intelligent input module that can accept input from as many as 8 different analog devices. It can also provide 16-bit input data. It does not have group to group isolation because its 8 inputs are all arranged in just 1 group, but it has channel to channel isolation rated at 250 Volts AC continuous and at 1500 Volts AC for up to 1 minute, and it has user input to logic isolation or user input to frame ground isolation that are also rated at 250 Volts AC continuous and at 1500 Volts AC for up to 1 minute.

IC670ALG240 GE analog input module

The GE Fanuc IC200ALG240 Versamax analog input module can operate in the current mode or in the voltage mode. Its operating input range in the current mode is 1 to 20 milliamps of current and its operating input range in the voltage mode is -10 to 10 Volts DC voltage. If the IC200ALG240 analog input module is operating in the current mode, it may need to have a seperate power supply installed to support the isolated inputs. It is easy to troubleshoot and service this input module because it can diagnose under-range, over-range, field power loss, open wire, high alarm, low alarm, and non-volatile memory storage errors. The LED indicators on the module can also alert the operators about device errors.
