Overview

Essential details:IC200ERM002 GE non-isolated expansion receiver module

The GE Fanuc IC200ERM002 module is a non-isolated expansion receiver module that is manufactured as part of the Versamax series. This expansion module is used to boost the functions of the Versamax PLC or I/O output station and it also increases the number of modules that can be connected. The IC200ERM002 expansion module has a maximum capacity of 7 racks with up to 8 modules each. It needs to be installed with a power supply to provide all the connected devices with power. When an additional power supply or power booster carrier is used, it should be connected to the main power source on the IC200ERM002 expansion module. Also, it features 3 onboard LED indicators that show the operating status of the device. This module can also work both as a single-ended or multi-rack Versamax I/O expansion system. Where the module is used in the multi-rack implementation, the total length of the cable cannot exceed 50 feet or 15 meters.

When the Versamax GE Fanuc IC200ERM002 non-isolated expansion receiver module is used in the single-ended system that has just 1 expansion rack, the length of the cable should not exceed 3.3 feet or 1 meter. It features a data transfer rate of 2.765 Mbps or 5 Mbps, depending on the implementation that is being used. The GE Fanuc IC200ERM002 expansion module comes with the two 26-pin D-shell expansion female ports. Also, it has 2 different current consumption ratings with a backplane voltage rating of either 3.3 Volts or 5 Volts. When the backplane voltage is 5 Volts, the current consumption rating is 70 milliamps, and the current consumption rating is 20 milliamps when the backplane voltage rating is 3.3 Volts.
