The new FLXA402 4-Wire Converter is designed tocombine the superor functionality and ease of usefrom the Yokogawa EXAxt series with the digitizationof the future.
The FLXA402 is designed to accept traditional analogor SENCOM 4.0 digital Smart sensors. The FLXA402ofers the possibility of connecting to five sensormeasurements at one time.
The modular-designed converteris a multi- parameterinstrument ofering a wide range of measurementchoices:such as:pH/ORP(oxidation-reductionpotential),ResistivityConductivity(SC), inductiveconductivity(1SC),% Concentration, DissolvedOxygen (DO) and 4-20 mA input- with the respectivesensor module.Multiole sensor measurements oferadditional functionalities, calculated data function thatcan be customized.
The FLXA402 converter includes a color HumanMachine Interface (HMl), that ofers easy touch screenoperation and simple instinctive menu structure in 11languages.Start up and commission time is minimal.Menus of display, execution and setting are displayedin a selected language.
The FLXA402 ofers a variety of communications.mA/HART MOdbUS TCP MOdbUS RTURS485.AndFieldMate working on tablet Pc can be used as alocal display via Bluetooth or RS485.

There are two sensor module slots; up to Fivesensor measurements are available in case of thecombination of SENCOM SA module and BA11junction box.
When FLXA402 (-DD) is selected, multiple sensormeasurements are not available.
The combination of two same sensor modules ordifferent type of sensor modules is possible except inthe case of Optical DO sensor. Please reference thefollowing combination chart.
