The Allen-Bradley 2198-D020-ERS4 Kinetix 5700 series dual-axis servo drive comes with a small LCD screen, LED status indicators, control keys, and connection ports on its front panel. It is cooled by 2 fans during operation and it supports “zero stacking” mounting options where it can be mounted directly next to other components in the system without a significant amount of space between them. The 2198-D020-ERS4 servo drive has 2 Ethernet ports with RJ45 connectors for connecting to an industrial Ethernet network. The module status indicator on the 2198-D020-ERS4 servo drive can alert the users if something is wrong with the drive and whether or not the drive is powered on. Additionally, the drive’s network status indicator can show the users whether or not the drive is connected to the Ethernet network.
