The 1784-PCICS card is an Allen-Bradley card. It is a PCI card which enables ControlNet connectivity on compatible computers. Different ControlNet networks should not be connected to the 1784-PCICS card because doing so can cause erratic operation for the communication system. Diagnostic status indicators provided on the front of the card provide information about the card and the connected network when the BNC connectors are being used. The status LEDs are meaningless when the 1784-PCICS card connects to ControlNet through the RJ45 network access port.
