The VPL-B1003T-PJ14AA is a rotary servo motor from the Kinetix VPL series. This servo motor is the actuating component of a motion control system, driven by a servo drive, specifically, a Kinetix 5500 or Kinetix 5700 multi-axis drive. This Servo Motor has an environmental protection rating of IP50 which can be increased up to IP65 upon the use of the appropriate optional shaft seal and environmentally sealed cables. The VPL-B1003T-PJ14AA operates at 460 VAC, 3-Phase voltage supply, and comes with an integral 24 VDC holding brake. It also has a frame size measuring 100 mm bolt circle diameter (BCD), 3-inch Magnet stack, rated speed of 6750 RPM, and maximum operating speed of 7000 RPM. For Kinetix drive position feedback, an 18-bit, the multi-turn digital absolute encoder is installed along with this servo motor. This encoder supports Hiperface protocol utilized for faster data exchange between the drive and the encoder. Incoming motor connections are made using the Single SpeedTec DIN connector in right-angle orientation which can be rotated up to 325 Degrees. This type of connector provided increased tolerance against shock, vibration while providing a fast installation method. This servo motor is also compatible using Allen-Bradley’s 2090 Cabling technology. This servo motor is ideal for installation in a variety of industrial applications particularly Packaging, Converting, Material handling, Electronics assembly, Automotive, and similar applications. It exhibits lo-inertia output, high Torque to size ratio, and is built with high-energy rare-earth magnets. This servo motor is specifically a Brushless AC Synchronous Servo Motor that comes with UL Recognized components to applicable UL and CSA standards as well as CE marked for all applicable directives.
