The VMIVME-HSD / -HSDA provides a high performance 32-bit DMA Link between the VMEbus and the Encore HSD Model 9132 and Encore Model 9136 Inter-bus Link (IBL). The VMIVME-HSD / -HSDA incorporates a 68430 DMA controller chip to perform its DMA transfers and provides the logic necessary to control the VMEbus during transfers to/from the Encore HSD. The VMIVME-HSDA also contains logic to implement a VMEbus interrupter and logic to allow the VMEbus to interrupt the Encore HSD.
