VMIVME-5740
The GE Fanuc / VMIC VMIVME-5740 6U VMEbus SCSI Hard Disk Drive Module allows two SCSI hard disk drives to be added to any VMEbus embedded system with a SCSI interface. Ultra320 SCSI drive connectivity is provided through two SCA-2 80-pin internal connectors. SCSI IDs are set by onboard switches.
The VMIVME-5740 is specifically designed for storage on workstations, server systems and computer clustering applications without need for additional sub-chassis. Due to its high network bandwidth, it is well suited for telecom, signal processing and distributed computing applications. Ultra320 SCSI supports synchronous transfer rates up to 320 Mbyte/s on a Low Voltage Differential (LVD) SCSI bus.
