The EcoStruxure Triconex-Tricon CX security system is Schneider Electric’s newest product for security control. It uses a typical Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) design. Combining the advantages of Tricon system and Trident system, TUV Rhine certification can be used in SIL3 security, with high security and fault tolerance. Tricon CX is widely used in the petrochemical industry, coal chemical industry, natural gas, electric power, rail transit, nuclear industry and other industries of device safety interlock and protection and control of key equipment.
The Triconex brand was founded in 1983 and has more than 30 years of experience in functional safety and critical control applications. With Schneider Electric’s acquisition of Invensys Group in 2014, Triconex became Schneider Electric’s most important process safety system brand.
