Product Description

The SR469-P1-HI-A1-E-H is a GE Multilin relay from GE Grid Solutions.  The module is from the company’s Multilin 469 SR series of relays.  These relays offer integrated management and protection for medium-voltage motors.

The SR469-P1-HI-A1-E-H is a cased basic unit with 1 A phase CT secondaries.  The unit’s primary CT is rated 1 to 5000 Amps.  CTs have a nominal frequency of 20-70 Hz.  The unit is rated for use in harsh/chemical environments.  It has an enhanced front panel and is rated for control power of 70-265 VAC or 90-300 VDC.

SR469-P1-HI-A1-E GE 469 SR series of relays

GE Multilin relays have a front panel that includes a draw-out handle that can be sealed to stop unauthorized access.   The front panel has a program port interface with a programmable baud rate of up to 19,200.   The faceplate also includes control and programming keys, value keys, and a 12-key numeric keypad.    Additionally, the faceplate includes motor status LEDs, device status LEDs, and output relay LED indicators.

Primarily, the SR469-P1-HI-A1-E-H and other GE Multilin relays are used for thermal protective functions.  The units offer unbalance biasing, hot and cold safe stall ratios, overload curves, RTD biasing, motor cooling time constants, and start inhibit as well as emergency restart.
