What is a linear resolution test card? A chart in which black and white lines are arranged horizontally or vertically at different frequencies. Different modes are available for different pixel counts of the camera, namely SDTV, HDTV, 4K or 8K. How do I use Line resolution test cards? Best used in conjunction with waveform monitors. The measurement results of the waveform monitor will follow a single line of the image (or all the lines as overlay). The waveform monitor will display a high or low signal between or in between black and white from 0% to 100% (the line pattern in the chart is black and white).
