PXle-8133 NI Embedded Controller for PXI and CompactPCI
The PXIe-8133 incorporates the quad-center Intel Core i7-3610QE processor. To expand the quantity of threads that the Controller can process, the NI PXIe 8133 Controller fuses Intel Hyper-Threading innovation that takes every one of the four physical cores and parts them into two virtual cores, for a sum of eight virtual cores. These eight virtual cores can execute eight figuring assignments, which is beneficial in multitasking conditions, such as Windows 7. The National Instruments PXIe 8133 operates using the NI-Industrial Communications for EtherCat driver software, the NI-DAQmx driver hardware , and the NI-VISA driver. Multithreaded framework improvement software packages, such as NI LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Measurement Studio, Microsoft Visual Basic, Visual C++, Visual Studio .Net can take a full favorable position of the processing cores on the PXIe-8133 by automatically separating their tasks into independent threads.
The National Instruments PXIe-8133 Embedded Controller has a 2.3 GHz base clock frequency, and, with Intel Turbo Boost innovation, the frequency consequently increments in view of the application type. For instance, when running applications that produce just a single processing thread, the CPU puts the three unused cores into an idle state and increases the dynamic core’s clock frequency from 2.3 to 3.3 GHz. The device has a weight of 2.87 lbs, and it has an operating temperature range of 5 to 50 °C; with an ideal storage temperature of –40 to 65 °C.
