The National Instruments PXI-6123 (Part numbers: 779181-01 and 779180-01Multifunction I/O Module has several types of channels, including: eight analog input channels, eight DIO channels, two counters, and does not contain any analog output channels. This module also has a 500 kS/s sample rate, 16 bits resolution, and 4.96 mV absolute accuracy. The suggested warm-up time for maximum performance is 15 minutes. There is a two year calibration interval as well, with specifications guaranteed for that time period. The self-calibration process is simple because it utilizes NI-MCal, a self-calibration algorithm, to characterize nonlinearity, offset, and gain mistakes in the module. The self-calibration process is completed in mere seconds. This National Instruments module has I/O customization options, NI-STC3 timing technology, the capability to stream information with PCI Express, and programmable input gains to make the most of resolution.
