The Pilz PSS SB DI8OZ4 is a digital input / output module designed to read and process the status of inputs and outputs in either bits or bytes. This process is done via the SafetyBus p.
PSS SB DI80Z4(301120)
The inputs and outputs on the PSS SB DI8OZ4 have the capability to be allocated to a maximum of two logical groups on the SafetyBus p. On the DI8OZ4’s mainframe, each input and output has a dedicated blank space for inscription, as well as a status LED. The inputs on the DI8OZ4 are suitable for both, single-channel and dual-channel safety-related input devices. Both the positive-switching and negative-switching outputs are suitable for connecting resistive and inductive loads with a maximum of two amps; though, the negative-switching outputs must be used in conjunction with a positive-switching output.
