The 8mm eddy current sensor is a sensing device based on the eddy current effect and Foucault’s Law (i.e. Gaussian current law). This type of sensor usually consists of an excitation coil and an induction coil. When the excitation coil is energized, it generates a high frequency alternating current, which in turn generates a magnetic field.
