The National Instruments PCI-MIO-16E-4 (Part Numbers: PCI-6040E and 777383-01) is a Multifunction, Plug-n-play, PCI controlled and powered Data Acquisition Device. This device can acquire 250 kS/s while operating in multichannel mode, and 500 kS/s when operating in single-channel scanning mode. The PCI-MIO-16E–4 has 16 differential or 8 single-ended analog input channels with 12-bit resolution, and eight 5 V TTL/CMOS digital I/O lines. Moreover, 2 analog output channels with 12-bit resolution, a sample rate of 512 Samples/s, with an output range of ±10 V are also provided. It has 3 DMA channels (scatter-gather modes).
