Essential details:PCI-8124 ADLINK 4-CH trigger board
PCI-8124-C is a 4-CH trigger board which is suitable for advanced line scan application which need high line rates. PCI-8124-C has internal FIFO to realize the high speed position compare and trigger pulse output. For this application, ADLINK proposes you can use PCI-8134 and PCI-8124-C together to gain the advantage of motion control and high speed trigger function. For position compare, PCI-8124-C provides two method: linear function or variable interval. PCI-8124-C also provides the variety of mapping function between comparator and trigger output. The comparator condition can be associated with latch signal, TTL input and EA/EB signal.

PCI-8124-C Main features:
■ Four 32-bit orthogonal encoder input and trigger output channels
■ Encoder input interface: OUT/DIR, CW/CCW and 1x, 2x, 4xA/B phase
■ Trigger output up to 5 MHZ; Encoder input up to 20 MHZ
■ Programmable trigger pulse width: 0.1us to 3.2765ms
■ Input/output circuit source optional: TTL/ open collector (with isolation)
■ Switch setting that triggers the output default level when powering on
■ Trigger output pin logic is programmable
■ Digital filter for a single encoder input channel
■ The internal high-speed FIFO of the four 32-bit comparators acts as the data reload buffer
■ 1,023 points per channel (32-bit)
■ Select each trigger output channel from all comparators and trigger the command manually
■ Select each encoder counter source from the comparator and manual trigger commands
■ Trigger pulse counter
■ 14 comparators can select one of 4 trigger output channels
■ 4 comparators for comparing encoder counter and FIFO data
■ 10 comparators for comparing encoder counters and linear data
■ General output or trigger output with 4-channel TTL output pin
■ General purpose or timer start signal with 4-channel TTL input pin
■ Counter input pins with 4-channel high-speed latches
■ EZ and latch input pins are available for general purpose input
■ Clear encoder counter by EZ input pin, zero operation by rising or falling edge
■ Programmable interrupt source complete, trigger, FIFO empty/full/low, lock and TTL input on for linear data
