Essential details:PCI-7344 NI Motion Controller Device
Featured with 3D contouring, 3D linear and circular interpolation, and up to 62 ms PID loop update rate, the National Instruments PCI-7344 (Part number: 778916-04) is a high-quality Motion Controller for stepper/servo control applications. This device is well-suited for machine builders and end users who require the capability of creating powerful applications swiftly and effortlessly. This device has a unique construction in which the DSP and CPU operate together to provide the user with optimized closed-loop controlling, motion command processing, and automated systems controlling. The NI PCI-7344 Motion Control Board comes with integrated system safety mechanisms. For example, the watchdog timer function has 63 ms timeout and resets the board to the startup state
Superiority products PCI-7344 NI Motion Controller Device
- The NI PCI-7344 has 62.5 to 500 µs/sample trajectory update range and offers 62.5 µs/axis maximum update range. This Motion Controller enables the user to acquire stepper outputs at 4 MHz maximum pulse rate and 120 ns maximum pulse width over a voltage range of 0 to 5 V.
The PCI-7344 National Instruments offers four 8-bit digital I/O ports; each bit can be programmed individually. For motion controlling and digital I/O, two separate 68-pin female high-density VHDCI I/O connectors are provided. The motion I/O connector incorporated in this Motion Controller contains all necessary signals required to control as many as four axes of stepper and servo motion, including: inhibit outputs, breakpoint outputs, motor command outputs, reverse limit inputs, home limit inputs, and more. For high-speed connectivity between the NI Motion Controller PCI-7344 and other National instruments devices, the user can utilize the RTSI connector provided.
This Motion Controller is fully compatible with software such as LabVIEW 8.5 or later, Microsoft Visual C++, Microsoft Visual Basic, LabWindows/CVI 8.5 or later, the AKD WorkBench Software, and the NI-Motion 7.6 or later versions.
