Overview

Essential details:PCI-6534 NI Digital I/O Device

The PCI-6534 (Part number: 778287-01) is synchronized with different kinds of estimations, including high-speed simple input, digitizers, sources, simple output, counter/clocks, image obtaining, movement control, and CAN interfaces. The device has 32 digital I/O channels with a 5 V TTL/CMOS compatibility, and a maximum rate of 5 MHZ (pattern I/O) and 19.9 MHz (handshaking). By individually using CPULL and DPULL, information lines and the power-on state for the control can be autonomously selected. With the NI PCI-6534 device, the user can create event driven application programs by programming them to produce a memo when conditions they need are met. These memos can be produced when a predetermined quantity of bytes have been exchanged, when a predefined input design is coordinated, or when an estimation task finishes. The NI device has a 64 MB memory which is split in two 32 MB modules. It has a power requirement of 2 A at 5 V.

The PCI-6534 National Instruments Device can be used for a function created by NI called MITE PCI interface. The MITE gives bus-master tasks, PCI burst exchanges, and elite DMA controllers for quick, nonstop, dissipate assemble DMA.

The nonstop sample I/O benchmark arranges the NI PCI-6534 gadget for persistently refreshed twofold supported exchange at a chosen exchange rate. If the chosen exchange rate is too high, a normal mistake will happen. The rate of exchange automatically abatements and the exchange begins once more. Once 100 MB are exchanged without blunder, the benchmark stops. For NI PCI 6534 gadgets, the exchange rate is restricted by the PC equipment and framework, not the advanced I/O gadget.

The device is run using the NI-DAQ driver software. The device hardware can be programmed using an application programming environment (ADE). Any of LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, LabVIEW Real-Time module, and Measurement Studio would suffice although there are other possible options.

This model comes with Single-Shot Pattern I/O, which is the benchmark for single shot example I/O. This feature enables the device to exchange a limited measure of information a given number of times. The device is equipped with a 68-pin male SCSI-II I/O connector, and measures 6.9 x 4.2 in. in physical dimensions.
