The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation MPL-B4530K-MJ74AA servo motor is a premium permanent magnet rotary servo motor. The servo motor is a low-inertia servo motor and it has its input voltage rated at 460 Volts AC. The MPL-B4530K-MJ74AA servo motor has an output apparent power rating of 2.6 kilowatts and a rotor inertia of 0.00040 kg-m (squared). The servo motor’s continuous stall torque and continuous stall current ratings stand at 73 pounds on an inch and 11 Amps, respectively. Although Allen-Bradley provides cables for use with the MPL-B4530K-MJ74AA servo motor, the manufacturer also allows the users to build their own cables. Therefore, Allen-Bradley also provides motor-end connector kits for this purpose. The kits utilize metallic backshells and compression-style sealing to connect to the cable jacket, and the sockets can be solder-style or crimp-style connector sockets depending on the kit. Note that crimping tools are offered for crimp-style sockets. The MPL-B4530K-MJ74AA servo motor belongs to the Allen-Bradley MPL series of motors. The servo motor has a multi-turn high-resolution feedback encoder, a brake, and a shaft key, and it accommodates an IEC metric mounting flange.
