For long-term storage, power on the device once every two years for at least 5 minutes. Otherwise, the service life of the equipment will be shortened.
Ignore the measures to be taken during maintenance operations
The inverter is equipped with electrolytic capacitors, which will age in the absence of voltage. If the equipment is directly switched on at rated voltage after long-term storage, aging will cause damage to the electrolyte capacitor.
If maintenance is not performed as prescribed, SEW-EURODRIVE recommends slowly increasing the power supply voltage to the maximum, which can be achieved through an adjustable transformer. Adjust the output voltage as described below. It is recommended to follow the following steps:
AC 4001500 V device:
Step 1: From AC0V to AC 350 V in a few seconds
Step 2:AC 350 V15 minutes
Step 3:AC 420 V15 minutes
Step 4:AC 500 V1 hour
AC 230 V device:
Step 1:AC 170 V15 minutes
Step 2:AC 200V15 minutes
Step 3:AC 240 V1 hours After this operation, the device can be used immediately or stored for a long time (maintenance as required).
