(5) In the example control ladder diagram, the motor of the conveyor belt is controlled by the output relay YO. Like the electromagnetic relay, the output relay Y0 will be reset in the case of power failure, and the self-locking contact will be disconnected. When the call comes again, it must be restarted to get power.
(6) YO, the output relay in the ladder diagram as shown in the figure, is changed to M500, an auxiliary relay to maintain power failure. In case of power failure, M500 will remain in the state before power failure. For example, M500-1 before power failure, M500 will still be equal to 1 when power is restored, and the state of power will remain. Since the auxiliary relay can only be used in internal programming, the normally open contact of M500 can be used to control the output relay Y0 to control the external circuit, as shown below.
(7) Example: A car is running on a line, as shown below. There are 5 stations from 1# to 5# on the line.
Each station has a trip switch and a call button. No matter which station the car is in, when a station under the button, the car will automatically move to the call point. Try PLC to control the car.
