Some of the main components of the IS215WEPAH2BB board are the female plug connectors. These plug connectors are located around the edge of the board and range from two to twenty pins. In the lower right-hand corner of the board, there is a daughterboard. There are also four metal oxide varistors, three of which are close together on the lower left-hand side of the board. The singular metal oxide varistor is located in the upper right-hand corner of the board.

The typical mounting location for the IS215WEPAH2BB board is in a VME rack with thirteen or twenty-one slots. The VME rack will then be located in the Control Module. Along with this model, the control module will have a variety of I/O cards, plus the main processor card. This board will typically only take up one slot of the VME rack.
