The IS210AEBIH1BAA is a General Electric wind turbine board component.  GE has been making turbine control components for steam, gas, and wind turbines for decades, many marketed as part of their Speedtronic line as part of the Mark I-Mark VIe series.

The IS210AEBIH1BAA is designed to be used as an AE Bridge Interface board.  This wind turbine printed circuit board is a long and narrow rectangular board with factory-made drill holes located in each corner.  The board also has additional drill holes within the body of the board to allow for other mounting options.  The unit weighs approximately .75 pounds.  That weight is before the addition of any kind of padding or packaging materials.

The IS210AEBIH1BAA is marked with the board ID number, with the GE logo, and with reference designators at each individually mounted part.  Additionally, the board is marked “nylon screw” at several points to note where these components may be added.   The unit offers several ways for integration to other components through stab-on connectors, right-angled connectors, and vertical pin connectors.  The unit also has three plugs.   Other components include three transformers located along one board edge, along with transistors, resistors, diodes, integrated circuits, and diodes.  The board does not have jumpers or LED components.

The IS210BAPAH1A functions as an Analog Processor module. It is a component for the Mark VI or the Mark VIe systems.  Both of these systems are from GE and have been designed to manage steam or gas turbines. The Mark VI is designed with central control, with the heart of the system being a Central Control Module with 13- or 21-slot VME card racks.  This platform can be used for the integration of power island and balance of plant controls. Conversely, the Mark VIe is a distributed control system with control processing spread throughout the system via nodes. These nodes are then kept under the control of a central scheduler.

Along with a SAMB terminal board, the  IS210BAPAH1A makes up an Acoustic Monitoring Input pack. This pack supports dynamics for frame 6/7/9 gas turbines.  The IS210BAPAH1A is built into a narrow black housing with openings at both the top and bottom to allow for air flow.  The rear surface includes top and bottom flanges with mounting holes cut in their surface. The front faceplate has a single jack connector and two sets of LED indicators.

Configuration and diagnostics for the IS210BAPAH1A can be run through the ToolboxST application.   The acoustic monitoring pack can calculate the broadband root-mean-square (RMS) energy of the time-domain sampled data in a frequency range of 0 to 5000 Hz.  It can also take an RMS scan average and a peak-to-peak scan average.
