As part of the larger VersaMotion series by GE Fanuc Automation, IC800SSD104RS1 is an S2K series Servo amplifier with resolver feedback. This amplifier is 4.3 amperes and 115/230 VAC 52 K. It is applicable to the following controllers: IC800SSI104RSI, IC800SSI104RD2, and IC800SSI104RP2. This device has an extended I/O and requires an S-Series Servo motor.
This amplifier includes a two-character diagnostic LED, robust power blocks, a command signal, torque limit analog inputs, user configurable quadrature encoder output, serial encoder feedback from S-Series Servo motors, sinusoidal commutation for smooth velocity and minimum torque ripple, pulse and direction, quadrature encoder or cw/ccw pulse input format for position control mode, and AC power input and motor connections on the bottom of unit to isolate electrical noise. The weight is 3.6 lbs and the dimensions are 6.05 in (depth) x 3.20 in (width) x 8.50 in (height).

The position feedback connector depth is 1.26 in. The operating range is plus or minus 10 VDC, the resolution is 12 bits, the output current is 5 mA, the input voltage range is +5 to +15 VDC, and the line count frequency is 3 MHz max. The pulse frequency is 12 MHz max with a 4x multiplier, and the output voltage is +5 VDC.
For the analog output on IC800SSD104RS1, the operating range is plus or minus 10 VDC, the resolution is 8 bits, and the output current is 5 mA. The operating temperature free air ambient must be 0 to 50° C and the storage and shipping temperature must be -40 to 80° C. The enclosure is an open type. This amplifier must be mounted in the vertical orientation to allow for circulation through the heat sink.
