Essential details:IC754VGI12CTD GE Human Machine Interface (HMI) device

The IC754VSI12CTD is a General Electric (GE) Fanuc Automation manufactured operator panel. This operator panel is part of the QuickPanel Human Machine Interface (HMI) device. This HMI device is pre-installed with a Microsoft Windows Compact Embedded (CE) operating system which provides a configuration and maintenance interface that is familiar to any operator or user. Not only that it provides a user-friendly environment, it also provides standard Microsoft Windows commands and capabilities such as File Transfer Protocol, Pocket Internet Explorer, Remote Access and Remote Browsing, PDF viewer and among other commands.

The IC754VSI12CTD allows any operator or user to monitor or control the connected machine or process via the provided monitor, touch input interface and communication interface. To monitor the system, the provided 12” inch colored Thin Film Transistor (TFT) display screen is capable of providing visualization of the process via a custom designed mimic. Additionally, the colored display screen supports implementation of color-coded animation and status display for an increased level of information. Control commands are entered through the touch sensitive screen which allows the operator to directly input commands by touching the appropriate runtime icon or objects. Communication with controllers is accomplished in point-to-point or multi-drop serial topology using the single RS232 / RS485 combo port while networked and multi-node communication is accomplished via the Ethernet communication interface which supports transmission rate of 10/100 Mbps.
