The IC695CHS016 universal backplane is made to be mounted horizontally on a rack in a GE RX3i PACSystems PLC. It needs about 4 inches or 102 millimeters of clearance around it on all sides so that it and the modules that it hosts can dissipate heat properly and experience air-cooling. The IC695CHS016 universal backplane comes with 16 slots and its dimensions are 5.6 inches x 23.7 inches x 5.8 inches in height, length, and depth, respectively.
