Essential details:IC693MDL632 GE positive/negative logic input module

Product Description

The IC693MDL632 positive/negative logic input module has a rated voltage of 125 Volts DC, and it is manufactured as part of the GE Series 90-30 PLC product line. It features 8 separate input points distributed evenly into 2 isolated groups, with each group having commons. These commons are not tied together or connected in the body of the module. This module is compatible with the Series 90-30 PLCs or Programmable Logic Controllers and it can be used after installing the module in a 5-slot or 10-slot I/O baseplate. To run the field devices, the users of the IC693MDL632 module must supply the power to them. The input devices must also be linked, and this connection is made between the input and the power bus of the module. There are also several input devices that are well matched with the different input characteristics, for instance, pushbuttons, limit switches, and electronic proximity switches, among others.

IC693MDL632 GE positive/negative logic input module

The GE Fanuc IC693MDL632 logic input module comes with either positive or negative logic characteristics depending on the design. The module can sink current to the operator’s common or negative power bus from the input device’s positive logic. The IC693MDL632 module can also get its current from an input device, and then send it to positive power bus’s negative logic. At the top of this module, there is an LED block that has several indicators in 2 horizontal rows. The module has only 8 input points, and it uses the top row of LEDs to show the status of all 8 of these points such as the “ON” or “OFF” status of each point. This module features a hinged door and an insert between the inner and outer door surfaces.
