Essential details:IC690USB901  GE I/O Base Expansion Cable

The GE Fanuc IC693CBL313 I/O Bus Expansion Cable is an I/O expansion base cable assembly for the GE Series 90-30 PLC system. The IC693CBL313 Cable is a Wye type of I/O expansion cable with continuous wire shielding designed to interconnect the CPU baseplate with expansion baseplates via a “daisy-chain” configuration or with remote baseplates. The IC693CBL313 I/O Bus Expansion Cable offers 25 feet (8 meters) of maximum cabling length. It comes as an assembly consisting of a 25-pin D-type male connector, a dual-headed connector (one male and one female), an 8-meter (25-foot) continuous shielded Wye cable, and an installation sheet. This cable can be used to extend the I/O expansion or remote baseplate capability in a Series 90-30 I/O system (via “daisy-chain” configuration) when additional I/O slots or baseplates need to be connected over a certain distance from the CPU baseplates.

IC690USB901  GE I/O Base Expansion Cable

The IC693CBL313 I/O Bus Expansion Cable has 2 connector ends. On one end of the 8-meter cable is a 25-pin male connector and on the other end is a double-headed connector consisting of 1 male 25-pin connector and 1 female 25-pin connectors. The 25-pin male connector on the single-connector end of the cable is connected to the 25-pin female connector on the CPU baseplate. The male connector on the double-head end is connected to the 25-pin female connector on the next expansion or remote baseplate and the female connector of the double-head end is connected to either a male connector of the next expansion baseplate to continue the “daisy-chain” link or it is terminated via an I/O Bus terminator plug if it the last cable on the chain.
