The output module also features alarms that can be set by the users for different events. The module treats output values as under range and over range when they do not meet the th 50 millivolts requirement of module’s maximum or minimum output settings.

IC670ALG310 voltage-source analog output module

The IC670ALG310 output module is compact in size and it can fit into small spaces. For input data, it takes 0 to 8 words of analog output data, 0 to 3 bytes of input data for the module and channel status, and 0 to 2 bytes of output data for clearing alarms. All of the data exchanges takes place between the output module and the bus interface unit. The IC670ALG310 output module comes with a “Channel Active” feature that lets the operators configure an individual channel as either active or inactive. The module also comes with local output default features that help to configure the data to the default settings or to zero for the module data in the bus interface unit. The module draws 170 milliamps of current from the bus interface. The resolution of the module is 14 bits and the magnitude data size is 14 bits.
