A06B-6087-H130 200V Power Supply Module (PSM-30)

Always install the circuit breakers, magnetic contactor, and AC reactor on your A06B-6087-H130. Be sure to use the correct breakers as specified in the FANUC manual. To protect the module from lightning surge voltages, install a lightning surge protector across each pair of power lines and across each power line and the grounding line at the power inlet of the magnetics cabinet. Always connect the control power supply cable to the CX1A. If it is connected to the CX1B, fuses inside the module could blow.  If you are using two power supply modules, the magnetic contactors and AC reactors cannot be shared – they each have ratings that matches each power supply module. However, the lightning surge protector can be shared. Make the wires used as short as possible if you do this.

Notes on Cleaning the A06B-6087-H130 Fan and Heat Sink:

1. A dirty heat sink or fan results in reduced semiconductor cooling efficiency, which degrades reliability. Periodic cleaning is necessary.
2. Using the compressed air for cleaning scatters the dust. A deposit of conductive dust on the amplifier for peripheral equipment will result in failure.
3. To clean the heat sink, do so only after turning the power off and ensuring that the heat sink has cooled to room temperature. The heat sink becomes extremely hot, such that touching it during operation or immediately after power-off is likely to cause a burn. Be extremely careful when touching the heat sink.
