Overview

Essential details:8444-1091 Woodward 120 Va/dC device

The ProTech model 8444-1091 is a 120 Va/dC device with a single power supply for each of the three speed sensing units in the system, which is part of the modular design of the Durward Overspeed protection device, enabling functions such as single unit hot change and single unit testing without taking the prime mover offline. The speed sensing units A, B and in Model 9907-149 are the same, in addition to having separate power supplies, these units also have separate operating interfaces and alarm systems, and these three units are mapped as two out of three voting methods. Before the hardware vote, the three units worked independently, monitoring the prime mover speed with a sex pickup (MPU) and performing speed calculations separately. The three units of Group ProTech 8444-1091 must be programmed with the same transmission point and enter program mode by connecting to all three single-press key switches.

Due to the modular design of this Durward system, the units are programmed separately and set adjustable parameters when the device is in program mode. These parameters are: Ice speed set point (250 RPM to 25,000 RPM) Microprocessor gear teeth 20 to 120MPU Therefore loud timeout 1 SEC 33 min 20 SEC MPU set point failure /100/ min to 25, The hop timer at 000 RPM MPU starts at reset if the speed is % of the 3C MPU set point Alarm These parameters, as well as the current speed, peak speed, light test and hop reasons, can be viewed on the unit operator interface when the unit is in monitoring mode. The current speed is the first parameter displayed by default. The case of the Ridward ProTech model 9907-149 is NEMA 4 and 4X certified (European IP54). Manual 85204(Revision G) is the manual for this equipment.
