Product Description

The 8440-2231 control is from Woodward INC’s EasyGen 100 series.The 8440-2231 is available in three versions of the control, the versions being the easYgen-800, easYgen-600, and easYgen-400, the easYgen-400 version of the control has a large LCD (liquid crystal display) and has electronic engine support.

One of the extensive features of the 8440-2231 control is the many operation modes, the modes include manual, auto, and stop modes which can be used through the front panel of the control, and discrete inputs or interfaces. 

Concerning the power supply of the control, there are many different modes and voltages of the control. It is wise to note that the power consumption of the control run at less than 4 W, when the control is in standby mode the consumption should read less than or equal to that of 2 W. The maximum operating current when the control is operating at 24 V the current should be 220 mA.

The actuator current of the generator has two different frequencies for the minimum and maximum, the minimum frequency of the generator should sit at 10 Hz and the maximum frequency should sit at 99.5 Hz. The maximum overload measurement of the same actuator current should be absolutely no more than 10 A.
