Product Description

MicroNet Simplex 48/24 High-Density Discrete Input Output (HDDIO) Smart-Plus module 5466-1158 was produced by Woodward in 2010 and requires Coder 5.03 or greater to operate properly. This module is a MicroNet Plus model that can be used to access information during the operation of the device through AppManager. There are two configurations of this module, one of which consists of two 24/12 Discrete FTMs (din mounted) that will connect to the MicroNet Discrete I/O Smart-Plus through two high-density discrete/analog cables.

When the 5466-1158 module must be replaced it can easily be replaced with another module of the same part number without adjustment. The inputs on this device will be galvanically isolated and if needed can be accessed through channel relays, a sixteen-channel, or a thirty-two-channel relay, or through the 24/122 Discrete FTM, the unit that will allow for the accessibility depending on the configuration of the module. Please note that during the installation of this module it will slide into the card guides of the chosen control chassis and plug into the motherboard. The unit has two handles which when pushed outward will move the module out just enough to disengage from the motherboard connectors.

This unit has forty-eight discrete contact inputs, the attached 48/24 Discrete FTM unit can supply contact wetting voltage. There are two optional external power sources that will source the circuit wetting voltage, these power sources are 18-32 VDC or 100-150 VDC. If a 24 VDC internal power source is used with the contact wetting function a jumper is needed.
