ABB robot hardware system is composed of two parts, namely the robot body and control cabinet. 1.1 Robot body. The robot itself is a mechanism composed of six rotating shafts, each with a Siemens AC servo motor. At the same time, the encoder of the motor feeds back signals to the driver. According to the comparison between the feedback value and the target value, the driver adjusts the rotation Angle, and the robot motion accuracy reaches ±0.05mm ~ ±0.2mm. The encoder is connected to the serial port measuring board (SMB), and each AC servo motor has a separate power supply and encoder measuring line. The serial port measuring plate mainly plays the role of receiving the position parameters of the six-axis encoder, and communicates with the computer system of the control cabinet through the serial port measuring plate to adjust the operation of the robot. 1.2 Composition of control cabinet.

Robot control cabinet is composed of robot DC power supply system, input and output system, safety system, computer control system, servo drive system and cooling system. 1.2.1 Robot DC power supply system. The robot DC power supply unit DSQC506 converts the input 220V AC power to the output 24V and 15V DC power to supply power to the robot drive system, I/O board unit, safety board, serial port measuring board and other devices. The computer DC power supply unit DSQC505 will convert 24V DC into 5V, 3.3V and 12V DC, providing power for the robot’s internal computer system. The main computer monitors all DC outputs through the system monitoring bus SMBus; Battery pack unit – DSQC508 is composed of control card, battery pack and test resistor. The control card is the battery microprocessing management board. The battery pack is composed of rechargeable nichcr battery with temperature sensor, input 24V DC, output 21.6V DC. When the input AC voltage is less than 180V and exceeds 20ms, the battery pack starts to discharge, providing power for the backup of the robot system. The robot controls the charging state by temperature detection, and self-checks the battery state by discharging the test resistance once a week. The main computer monitors the battery pack power, charging status, battery function and battery status through the system monitoring bus. 1.2.2 Computer control system.
