3500/53M   Electronic Overspeed Detection System

The 3500/53M Electronic Overspeed detection system is a product of Bently Nevada, Inc. for overspeed protection of machinery. The system complies with American Petroleum Institute standards 670 and 612 for overspeed protection. It features a highly reliable, fast response redundant tachometer system specifically designed for overspeed detection. The 3500/53M modules can be combined into a 2 ⁄ 2 or 2 ⁄ 3 voting system to increase system reliability and stability. The overspeed detection system requires 3500 racks with redundant power supplies.

3500/53M electronic overspeed detection system, the system has 3 Bentley eddy current sensors to measure the speed, the sensor transmits the signal to the overspeed protection module, for two out of three voting.
