The Allen-Bradley 22A-D2P3N104 is a PowerFlex 4 Adjustable Frequency AC Drive. This drive is a 3-phase air-cooled AC drive that has an A-size frame without a CE-compliant filter. It does have an integral keypad for input and an LED display with a fixed terminal connection. Also present in this drive is a built-in RS-485 communication port.
The 22A-D2P3N104 drive only support panel mounting installation and it has an IP20 and open-type enclosure ratings. The approximate measurements of this drive are 5.98 x 3.15 x 5.35 inches. The supply voltage range of the 22A-D2P3N104 342-528 Volts AC for input as well as 0-460VAC, 3-Phase for output. Its line frequency is 48-63 Hertz, with output power of 1 HP or 0.75 kW, and power factor of 0.95. This PowerFlex 4’s drive is equipped with sensorless vector performance, which allows the drive to automatically provide auto-boost and slip compensation. With this feature, the 22A-D2P3N104 is also able to provide exceptional speed regulation and high torque levels across the speed range of the drive, even as loading increases.
This drive is a 3-Phase, 380-480VAC, 48-63 Hz Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), primarily used to modulate or vary speed of industrial AC motors for modulating speed and torque applications.
The 22A-D2P3N104 is a Sensorless Vector Control capable drive. With Sensorless Vector, speed is regulated as well as Torque output may be varied across the drive’s operating speed. This is compatible in applications that varying lifting loads such as elevators, cranes and other similar industrial applications.
When supplied with the appropriate input voltage, the drive delivers an output frequency of 0-240Hz, 0-460 VAC, 3-Phase, continuous output current of 2.3 Amperes and output power of 0.75 kW or 1.0 Horsepower. This drive is also equipped with internal overvoltage and undervoltage circuit protection and may also be added with appropriate motor circuit protection, fuses, contactors, line reactors, EMC filters, Harmonic Line filter, and other protection devices.
