The 2080-LC50-48QWB is a Micro 850 Logic Controller, manufactured by Allen Bradley. The Allen-Bradley 2080-LC50-48QWB is a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) from the Micro 850 series. This controller series are a family of compact, cost-effective controllers that are ideally used for micro and small automation requirements. This controller is DIN rail mountable and supports direct Panel Mounting as well via the provided mounting holes.

 

The 2080-LC50-48QWB comes with a single serial interface combo port. This port can be configured for RS-232 and RS-485 communication standards and supports industrial communication protocols such as Modbus RTU Master/Slave architecture; It also supports ASCII protocol which is commonly used for manufacturing applications, integrating instruments that read barcodes. It also supports the Common Industrial Protocol (CIP).
