Product Description

The 1756-OB16IS ControLogix Output Module by Allen-Bradley is an output module located on the 1756 Chassis slot, and it has 16 individually-isolated sinking/sourcing outputs with 8 of the outputs being scheduled. It has 2A (DC-13SQ) contact rating, and 0-30V operational voltage. It has a signal delay time of 1ms for OFF to ON and 2ms for ON to OFF and draws 350mA at 5.1V DC and 2.5mA at 24V DC backplane current, and has a total backplane power consumption of 1.8W. The module has a maximum power dissipation of 3.6W at 60 °C and a thermal dissipation of 12.28 BTU/hr. The maximum voltage loss in the ON state is 1.2V DC at 2A, and each point has a leakage current of 0.5mA. Each point also has a nominal current of 1A/2A at 30/60 0C with 8A/4A maximum current on the module at 30/60 0C and the module has 4A surge current for 10ms repeatable every 2s on every output points with 1mA minimum current load on each point.
