Its input voltage range for the sinking inputs is 12 to 24 Volts DC voltage and its operating voltage range is 10 to 31.2 Volts DC voltage. The Allen-Bradley 1756-IB32 Series B module has an input delay time of 420 microseconds plus a selected filter time that the operators can select. This input module’s current ratings are 1.5 milliamps of maximum input current, 5.5 milliamps of maximum operating current, 2 milliamps of minimum operating current, 120 milliamps of backplane current at 5 Volts DC, and 2 milliamps of backplane current at 24 Volts DC. The open enclosure also prevents the operators from touching the live parts of the module and being injured by the voltage. This module also comes with a change-of-state feature that is software-configurable for different applications. The RSLogix 5000 software that the module uses must be version 8.02 or later of the software.
