The Allen-Bradley 1606-XL240E power supply is a compact power supply manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It offers a power boost feature rated at up to 288 Watts. It comes with a separate primary fuse and it has switchable operating modes that are the single and parallel modes. It is a three-phase power unit with a voltage rating of 480 Volts AC. It is a Series A device and it supports both AC and DC power supplies. It can be mounted by using a DIN Rail mounting base. The output current rating of the unit is 10 Amps. It supports up to five parallel operations. The 1606-XL240E power supply is equipped with a front panel potentiometer with a preset level of 24.5 volts with a guaranteed adjustable range. The ambient operating temperature range of the supply unit ranges between 0 and 70 degrees Celsius.

The Allen-Bradley 1606-XL240E power supply can regulate voltage which is more than 2% overall with the jumper in the single mode position. The ripple/noise rating has a 20 MHz bandwidth. This power supply offers an overvoltage protection voltage range from 36 Volts minimum up to a maximum of 39 Volts. The power back immunity of the power supply has a minimum rating of 34 Volts. Front panel indicator lights are included on the module and they are green and red LEDs. The power supply unit can handle transients for all load conditions. The 1606-XL240E power supply has rugged electronic components that are rated for 105 degrees Celsius. The start-up delay of the unit is 100 milliseconds and the rise time falls between 5 and 20 milliseconds depending on the load.
