Product Description

140471-01 is an I/O module with an internal terminal developed by Bently Nevada. It is part of the 3500/42M precursor seismic monitor. It protects the device by periodically comparing the observed data to a predetermined alarm setting point to trigger an alarm. lt shares critical machines with maintenance and operational information. A four-channel monitor that gets data from the seismic sensor and proximity sensor is called a 3500/42M preprocessor seismic monitor. When the regulating signal is compared to a user programmable alarm, it adjusts the signal to provide vibration and position measurements.

140471-01 Bently Nevada Developed I/O module with internal terminal

The four-channel Bently Nevada 3500/42M series precursors/seismic monitors accept input from proximity sensors and seismic sensors, adjust the signal to provide a variety of vibration and position measurements, and compare the adjusted signal with a user-programmable alarm.
The configuration software allows you to program each channel to perform the following functions: radial vibration, thrust position, expansion difference, eccentricity, REBAM, acceleration, speed, shaft absolute value, and circle acceptance area. The primary function of the preprocessor/seismic monitor is to provide mechanical protection by continuously comparing monitoring parameters with configured alarm setting points to drive alarms. In addition, these modules provide critical machine information to operations and maintenance personnel.
