1336-WB110 Dynamic Brake Chopper Module

The 1336-WB110 Dynamic Brake Chopper Module by Allen-Bradley is a 480V AC Brake Chopper Module with a 2.5 Ohms Brake Resistor used for increasing the braking torque from 10-100%, for the Allen-Bradley 1336, 1336VT, 1336PLUS, 1336PLUSII, 1336FORCE, or 1336IMPACT Frequency Drives. The Brake Chopper Module features a 200A, 700V AC, Ferraz Shawmut fuse, with an SCR over-voltage crowbar circuit to provide cheap but effective over-voltage protection, and it also features an Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) Chopper transistor voltage control which efficiently regulates DC bus voltage during regeneration. The 1336-WB110 has an operating voltage range of 380-480V AC, with 110A operational current, and it can be set in parallel in a master-follower configuration with another Allen-Bradley Brake Chopper Module in an application with an operating current exceeding the module’s current rating. The 1336-WB110 has heavy-duty ratings of 460V AC drive voltage, with 750V DC turn-on input voltage from a DC Bus supply, and a 2.5 Ohms Dynamic Brake value.
