MPB2-TP is a plug-in multi-protocol communication expansion card designed for Eaton XV HMI series. Compared with MPB1-TP, it adds native Siemens MPI interface to realize direct connection with SIMATIC S7 PLC systems. Equipped with dual DB9 ports (MPI and COM PORT), it supports multiple serial physical standards including RS232, RS422 and RS485. This module enables HMIs to exchange real-time data with various brands of controllers, implement parameter reading, equipment monitoring and remote operation.
