MPB1-TP is a rack plug-in communication interface board designed for legacy Eaton / Micro Systems industrial control platforms. It serves as a dedicated gateway implementing the TP2 protocol, enabling bidirectional data exchange between the host controller and external equipment over GLT-Bus (RS485 physical layer).
This module converts internal parallel bus signals to GLT-Bus serial communication, supporting real-time process data transmission, parameter downloading and equipment status monitoring. It is widely matched with legacy turbine control, power plant automation and process control rack systems. The MPB1-TP has reached OEM end-of-life and is supplied mainly as new surplus or refurbished spare parts for system maintenance and retrofit.
